Interim Business Analyst, Group Functions Information & Reporting, Stockholm

On behalf of a large international Bank SJR is now looking for an interim Business Analyst within Group Functions Information & Reporting. The position is based at the office located in the centre of Stockholm. Some travel may be required.

We estimate that the length of the assignment is approximately 10 months.  

Role and responsibilities

As a Business Analyst in Group Functions Information & Reporting (GFIR) you will be part of a dedicated unit working in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

The mission of this group is to develop, establish and maintain collective strategies for information and reporting through unified processes. You will be part of the Business Development team within GFIR, a highly skilled team where you will work in a positive environment with opportunities for professional growth. In addition, you will work together with our stakeholders, the regulatory framework owners, as well as with our IT department.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Prioritise and describe product backlog which reflects stakeholder’s requirements
  
• Business driver or Solution Matter Expert in projects
  
• Sign-off of functional designs and data quality tests ensuring correct implementation of business requirements and agile development models
  
• Provide end-user support to customers in Group Functions and Business Areas
  
• Collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across the bank when implementing changes, assisting in training and end-user documentation

Your background

• Academic degree in finance, mathematics, statistics or engineering
• Experience from working with data analysis and relevant tools like SQL and SAS
• Experience of driving different initiatives in an international banking environment
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written and preferably experience of working with remote teams 
• knowledge of capital, regulatory or credit risk reporting requirements (as BASEL, FINREP, COREP, FATCA, CRS or AnaCredit) are an advantage
