Thesis: ”Robotic Process Automation” i Karlskrona

In present times, a tablet or computer is always within reach. Our mobile phone is our best friend. The findings of new solutions are continuous, which makes our digital life even more simple and more fun than yesterday. Still, the digital revolution has just begun. Evolution is ongoing, and the pace is rapid. Soon it will be possible to see, experience and do things we still only dream about.

This is where Telenor enters.

We put people closer to each other and give them access to the latest techniques. We are placed in the middle of the digital evolution. We live and develop along with it. Now we need your help to develop even more.

Robotics and Robot Process Automation (RPA) creates possibilities to automatize processes and tasks with the objective to increase efficiency and enhance quality in standardized and repetitive tasks. The main objectives of the thesis is to:

• Analyze & explore the possibilities of Telenor Sweden to replace manual and repetitive processes with robotic-solutions
• Program/code and possibly test a MVP (minimum viable product) in a choosen area

• Suggest structures of Governance for the      use of robotics

The thesis is preferably executed in a group of 2-3 students.

Are we a match?

We’re looking for students with:

• Relevant academic records related to Robotics
• Programming skills (ie SQL Server, VB, .NET etc.)
• Fluent English (written and orally)
• Knowledge and skills in RPA Software is highly meriting
• (Academic) project works in the field of robotics is highly meriting

You have a strong tecnnical interest and is fascinated of digitalization, processes & “system perspectives”, robotics and automation. You have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a team, and to progress as a team, as well as on your own. You’re curious as well as courageous: you possess the abilty to challenge in a humble way. Last but not least you’re analytical, logical and a fast-learner.
