About the role

Our Pricing team is looking for a sharp analytical and commercial profile, that can help us form the future pricing approach for KICKS & Matas. For this role as Senior Pricing Manager, you will be responsible for driving price strategy on multiple categories across banners & countries, as well as securing ongoing performance on key pricing initiatives. Responsibilities in detail include:

  • Executing and further developing the existing pricing strategy, with a focus on increasing traffic, growth, and a strong price perception
  • Developing and implementing price and campaign strategies for Matas' category areas in collaboration with our category teams
  • Business development and project management of existing pricing programs and new pricing initiatives in collaboration with key departments across Matas (including Marketing, Digital, Stores, IT/BI, and Category)
  • Continuous optimization, operation, and follow-up on initiated initiatives
  • Analysis of commercial issues and development of action plans
  • Development of dashboards and reports for follow-up

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A relevant master's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in handling large amounts of data and making data-driven decisions
  • Experience working with data (e.g., Excel, PowerBI) and summarizing conclusions in presentations
  • Experience in pricing, preferably within retail/e-tail or FMCG
  • A pragmatic approach, good communication skills, and the ability to make complex data and insights understandable
  • A strong strategic and commercial understanding and the ability to translate insights into commercial value
  • Good collaboration skills, motivation, and a curiosity for learning
  • A natural drive for creating change and a desire to have a high level of ambition
