What you’ll do

The ART Power Electronics Hardware delivers the power electronics for all derivatives of electric propulsions within Propulsion & Energy. This includes development of electric drive inverters, on-board chargers and DC/DCs in both concept and in industrialization phase.

You will lead a group that is responsible for DC/DC, AC/DC converters power and digital as well as the testing of our inverters. electronics design and verification.

We are now seeking a committed and collaborative colleague who wants to join us with the primary responsibility to inspire and lead our teams towards new challenges ahead and secure successful delivery in the electric propulsion technology area. You ensure the work environment for the team and set objectives, do performance reviews and salary setting for your team members. You also ensure competence development and recruitment to assure highly skilled individuals with the right competence in line with our long-term technical strategies.

Engineering Managers are responsible for overseeing an engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of complex and high-impact technology projects. Leveraging their extensive technical expertise and leadership skills, they foster a high-performance culture and drive strategic prioritization. They are accountable for the quality and timeliness of the work produced by the teams under their supervision.

Also, you contribute with a strong sense of customer focus and business acumen in management forums as well in co-operations with fellow colleagues, team members and suppliers. Your contribution is very important regarding the departments future business direction and results.

 

What you‘ll bring

 

  • M.Sc. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent and proven technical experience
  • Proven experience in an equivalent position
  • Deep knowledge and experience in the development and industrialization of power converters
  • Documented leadership qualities and experiences
  • Driving license
  • Previous experience in Automotive will be considered a strong plus

 

You are flexible and enjoys changes as you will be working in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.  You are an experienced problem solver, looking for a bigger business challenge. As a person you also apply creative thinking to issues and analyse qualitative and quantitative research data.

You are a self-starter with a pioneering spirit; resourceful and able to take ownership quickly and reliably. You have an ability to lead through people, listen and coach and you are energetic and truly motivated by creating new solutions together with the cross-functional team.
