What you’ll do
You will be involved in system design, requirement management and safety documentation of Manage Electrical Energy functionality in our next generation electrical architecture.
You will help develop new SW for controlling and balancing usage of electrical energy in a highly updated electrical architecture with multiple voltage levels.
You will develop the optimal solution by collaborating with more or less every team and function producing or consuming electrical energy in our cars.
What you‘ll bring
We expect you to have experience and competence within Electrical Power Engineering and Functional Safety documentation.
Education/Experience:
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Power engineering. M.Sc. is nice to have. Other education "quite close to HW" may also be adequate.
• Experience from system design and development in an automotive context.
• Experience from writing functional safety (system safety) documentation.
• Experience from working with electrical power components, like DC/DC converters, is a plus.
• Skills and interest in programming and software testing.
Tools/languages/standards:
• SystemWeaver (CarWeaver)
• Simulink
• Elektra and other Vector tools (e.g. CANoe)
• ISO-26262

You are an organized and structured and well acquainted with agile way of working.
You can build and maintain cross functional networks both within and outside your home organization to gain technical insights to learn as well improve way of working.

You also possess extensive communication and documentation skills.
As the team is a central actor with plenty of interfaces, a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
