The team you would be joining
To support our sales strategy of transitioning from a wholesale model to direct sales, a Direct Markets team has been established, focusing on transforming markets from predominately wholesale into 100% omnichannel. Within Direct Markets a Direct Sales organization has been setup, focusing on securing profitable growth and sales performance across customer segments in the direct markets (so far UK and SE, more markets to come). To ensure the success of Direct Markets growth, we are now looking to strengthen the team focusing on Strategy & Business Development.
What you will do
You will be responsible for driving the Direct Sales strategy, business development and performance steering across all channels, customer segments and offers for the Direct Markets (UK and SE), ensuring that we are delivering on our commercial targets. You will need to connect data and insights to secure actions and set a structured strategic agenda to execute on, collaborating closely with different commercial and digital stakeholders. As the Direct Markets organization is newly established, you will be crucial in setting the business foundation to ensure we quickly show best in class performance as well as support in driving the direct transformation with digital teams.
You will also:
· Develop business cases and decision material for project stakeholders and senior management as basis for offer changes, campaigns, margin improvement initiatives etc
· Support in setting the operating model for Direct Sales
· Optimize the sales funnel and key commercial levers to ensure profitable growth for Direct Markets
· Be the bridge between local markets and product clusters for new development and the overall transformation

To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
· M.Sc. in Business or Engineering and strong academic track record preferably
· >4 years’ experience of management consulting from a top tier firm and/or business development in relevant industry with tangible results
· Proven ability to lead projects with C-level exposure
· Experience from leading strategy projects, market analyses and complex business modelling exercises
· Proven ability to balance long term strategic planning while simultaneously delivering results in a very fast paced environment
· Practical experience of agile working methods, digital development and e-commerce or digital consumer services
You also need to be a strong relationship builder with the ability to work towards senior stakeholders with excellent communication. You have strong business acumen, you are analytical and base your decisions on data-driven insights. You have a good ability to plan, manage and execute work within complex topics and projects. We believe you to be bold, have integrity and always keep the customers top of mind.
