We call our HR organsiation at Volvo Cars People Experience (PX). The PX Central Functions team is a passionate team of PX Business Partners committed to leading the strategic and tactical people agendas for Volvo Cars’ corporate and headquarters functions. We are now looking for an additional PX Business Partner to join our team and support our Global Digital Core organisation. Digital Core is Volvo Cars’ IT function ranging from software development to IT service support – a Global organisation of approximately 3,000 people. What you’ll do
In this role you will act as a true business partner to the managers in the Digital Core organisation. With your thorough business understanding and data-oriented approach, you will translate our overall strategy and priorities into sharp people plans and deliver on them. The role includes hands-on deliveries within the areas of leadership development and coaching, culture, diversity and inclusion, recruitment, talent development, labour relations, rehabilitation, and other areas that enable us to deliver a great employee experience and bring out the best in people.
What you’ll bring
We believe you have experience from working as an HR Business Partner, ideally from another complex global organisation, along with a deep understanding of the impact HR has on the success of the business. You have a strong track record of supporting a range of stakeholders across different business areas and established experience in supporting and coaching global organisations with a high pace of change.
You have good experience in delivering both strategic and operational HR support and have impacted improvements and change across a portfolio of HR services. You are able to support the business on a change management transformation, ensuring improvements that secure the best possible employee experience and a desire to build a creative culture across Digital Core, effect change where needed and nurture a positive work environment.
You have a high level of comfort presenting to both small and large groups – with a proven ability to persuade an argument and challenge where necessary. For this role it is required that you have solid English communication skills both verbally and in writing.
We also see it as an advantage if you are digital savvy since your role is to support the business area of Digital Core.
Competence and experience are important, but personality is key! You are comfortable collaborating across teams, levels and locations. You set guidelines appropriately, and you have high influencing skills and can inspire people to work towards joint goals. In the organisation, you are a go-to-person with high integrity that is enthusiastic about creating the best prerequisites for people and organisations to deliver.
