A typical day
Being a part of Sodexo Supply Management team in Sweden you will contribute to delivering sustainable sourcing solutions to grow our business. Our goal is to deliver value to all business lines of Sodexo through cost savings, quality, sustainable sourcing, and innovation. Our mission is not only focusing on supporting the business with lowest cost but also supporting on top line support.
Besides procurement related activities, an important part of your day-to-day work will be to interact with, influence and manage internal and external stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will involve category management work, e.g., develop and implement category strategies and tenders that secure best possible value for Sodexo. Key responsibilities also include formulation and execution on annual category & sourcing plans, deliver savings and innovation.
In order to succeed, you will build a strong expertise across the categories managed as well as collaborate with internal stakeholders in order to deliver highest value to the business.
A natural part of your work will be to initiate and support continuous improvements within categories and the SM function as a whole and contribute to Supply Management transformation and roadmap.
You will be part of a team focusing on food, built up by both you as Category Buyers in close cooperation with Segment Supply Manager in Food, all with the common goal of supporting and deliver on business needs. Engaging with Global buying teams to develop categories globally is also a part of the job.

You love and have knowledge of food from previous rolls. You have a strong business mind, an open personality, and strong communication & networking skills. You get motivated by being part of a transformation journey and continuous improvements are a natural part of your work as well as striving to increase profitability and growth.
This will be a challenging role, with both highly strategic parts in one end and operative demands in the other end. You will have ambitious cost savings & efficiencies to be met whilst driving improvements and innovation. You are skilled in stakeholder management and influencing to be effective in this position. The role requires considerable negotiation experience.
You have an academic degree or similar, experience from strategic procurement and a track record of delivering ambitious cost savings within a Category Management position. Experience of Buying/Category Management within food categories is preferable.
Excel is something you love and know by hart.
You will report to Head of Supply Management Food, but, you have the ambition to grow in your career and see yourself in a leading role as Head of Supply Management Food in a near future.
