What you will do
In the role as BaseTech Test Engineer, you will work with testing on Complete Vehicle Electrical System level within multiple vehicle projects and platforms to secure BaseTech (SW download, network management etc.) and System Quality. You will do both manual and automated testing and you participate in our test development as well as in the analysis of the test result.   


Working as Basetech Test Engineer on the Complete electrical system means that you will establish and develop relationships with designers and other test engineer within different system areas of the complete vehicle, as well as building an understanding of the designs within those areas.


This role can be adapted to fit both senior and junior engineers.


You and your skills 
To thrive in this role, we believe you have a B.Sc. or higher in Electronics/Mechatronics engineering or equivalent, as well as experience as test engineer within complex distributed systems. You need to have been part of developing test and analysis methods, and good vehicle knowledge on a complete vehicle level. You will also need to have knowledge of CANalyzer, Optolyzer, LINspector, DSA, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Most and Flexray as well as automation such as Robot Framework, Jenkins, and Cynosure. 

 

We also see that you have knowledge of automotive electrical architecture, signal configuration, diagnosis, and software-download, and we believe that you have programming knowledge, for example in Python, C++ or Matlab/Simulink. 


Good knowledge of English and Swedish (spoken and written) is required, and experience in electrical systems within the automotive industry, AUTOSAR, and ISO26262 is highly meritorious.

 

As a person, you are a good communicator who works in a structured way. But most of all, you are a purpose-driven person who understands that we do this together and try to have fun along the way! Perhaps today you work with any type of SW-development in the vehicle industry on the unit or domain level and like to broaden your scope to see the full picture of the SW usage on a complete vehicle level?
