Who are we and what´s in it for you?
At our Global Export Controls Office, we bundle passion, and all the core export controls competencies to ensure all worldwide Volvo Cars’ business activities are compliant with the applicable export controls regulations.
Today we are facing a need of an extra resource who can support our efforts in further developing our training program on export control laws and regulations. We would you’re your expertise for the period of 1 year, therefore this would be a temporary contract.
You will be an integral part of an engaged global team, running a project focusing on developing the best training solutions within our digital eco-system to ensure a modern learning experience for our learners. Our team will support you in providing the necessary expertise about export controls and you will get guidance from our Central Learning & Development Team when it comes to alignment with the company´s learning frame and standards.
What will you do?
You will actively contribute to the development of the Global Export Control Training Program together with the rest of the Export Control team, as well as you will continuously interact with multiple stakeholders within the organization. You will assist in identifying the learning objectives, best way of delivery method, identify target audience, and support with development of the actual training content.
The crucial part of your role will be to develop and execute the plans to enable the successful development. You will be responsible for developing procedures to ensure training plans and records are being maintained to enable the fulfillment of both internal as well as governmental requirements.
You will engage with functions such as People Experience (HR), R&D, Procurement and Supply Chain, and mostly with Central Learning & Development Team to leverage the training program through creative ways of delivering trainings, finding innovative digital solutions and with that raising awareness of the Export Controls requirements.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe our candidate has a university degree within communication or other relevant area and couple of years’ experience from developing, implementing, or delivering trainings in a global organization.
The role requires that you are fluent in English (spoken and written) and have strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal business partners.
It is vital that you have experience from analyzing operations and processes to identify the key aspects to enable the implementation at the right level. You have in-depth understanding of digital learning solutions and their practical application and have some experienced in creating and working with a range of media types and learning content to create blended learning solutions.
If you have a general understanding of export control laws and regulations would be a huge advantage for you to be successful in this role.

You are structured, quality conscious and a have a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities. You are comfortable working independently but at the same time, you have cross-functional and integrated work experience, with the ability to cooperate and work in an international team environment.

Time: 1 year full time assignment
