Global SEO Specialist – this is what you’ll do
You will work closely with the Head of SEO and be responsible for maximizing growing organic search traffic through driving content, tech, campaign initiatives with internal teams, local markets and external partners.
In this role you will report to the Head of SEO and support on executing the SEO strategy. You will manage support all elements of SEO across agencies, content teams and development teams. Building strong working relationship with developers, designers, editors and other colleagues to ensure SEO is at the forefront of their thinking and your input will be key.
Further, you will work with external agency partners to supplement in-house SEO knowledge and resource. You will perform technical SEO and content audits to identify issues and enhance visibility of the sites in major search engines. You will support the strategy, execution and monitoring of SEO in projects and be comfortable and excited about working with multiple stakeholders.
You will closely monitor the domains for changes that are detrimental to SEO, identifying root cause, solutions and flagging to the relevant team. Moreover, you will keep up to date with industry developments, including algorithm updates and reputable/reliable SEO industry best practice as well as monitor competitor activity, promptly communicating change.
Skills & Experience:
• Deep understanding of SEO including:
• Google and other search engine algorithms
• Content production and optimisation
• Onsite technical knowledge and understanding of website development
• Outreach, digital PR and link earning strategies
• Strong SEO analytical skills, experience of GA and GSC
• Experience using a variety of SEO tools Brightedge, Screaming Frog SEMRush, etc
• Comfortable communicating with developers
• A clear understanding of how search fits into the overall marketing mix
• Strong Excel skills
• The ability to work across multiple projects to deadline concurrently
• Great communication skills
• Capable of working on tasks alone or as part of a team
• Experience from working on agency side is considered a merit
