Manager Aktivitetshuset in Älmhult i Älmhult, Sweden

Älmhult is the heart of IKEA and since the opening 1991, Aktivitetshuset has been a unique meeting place for all IKEA co-workers and their families working in, living in and visiting Älmhult. Over the years, it has been an appreciated facility with a gym, cafe and lots of activities. Today healthy habits and lifestyle choices are more than just exercise and breaking a sweat at the gym. It is about a healthy work-life balance, to grow and feel good - whatever that means for you! We want to enable this by an updated and strong offer with wide variety of possibilities for people to get active, recover, learn, develop, play, be creative and connect.

Aktivitetshuset is owned by the IKEA staff foundation (IKEA Personalstiftelse) in Älmhult where all IKEA companies in Älmhult are represented and part of. From an organizational perspective, Aktivitetshuset belongs to IKEA Älmhult AB.

We are looking for a you who are passionate about leading and developing people and business together.

Your overall assignment includes; 

-Leading, managing and developing  the business and people of Aktivitetshuset.

-Leading  the creation and execution of the business plan for the new Aktivitetshuset 

  delivering to the IKEA Personalstiftelse strategy and according to set goals.

-Securing, leading and developing  a competent and high performing team.

-Leading and/or contributing  in cross business initiatives  within IKEA Älmhult AB Group.

You understand the importance of creating collaborative teams across your own organization but are also used to co-operate in different cross functional teams.

Through an entrepreneurial and curios approach and with a passion to lead in the unknown, you create movements and deliver results based on set strategies and plans. You actively contribute to Aktivitetshuset as a great place to visit, through your motivation for and experience in  hospitality, service, health and wellbeing and from leading people, teams and businesses in change.

And of course, as a foundation, you are a role model of the IKEA culture & values.

The position requires fluency in both Swedish and English.
