Senior Compliance Officer, Nordea Finance/ Transaction Banking, Sweden i Stockholm

Welcome to Group Compliance and the Business Banking and Nordea Finance/Transaction Banking CO team. We are a virtual team with 5 colleagues located in the Nordic capitals. We have widespread contact with stakeholders across the Business Area and in particular the divisions Nordea Finance and Transaction Banking we cover and combine local presence and stakeholder engagement with extensive cooperation via digital channels. We create value by combining regulatory knowledge with deep business understanding.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide proactive support (mainly advice and training) and constructive challenge (mainly risk assessment, assurance, and reporting) to both local management in Nordea Finance Sweden and the management in Transaction Banking/Business Banking. You will do this directly or by contributing to team efforts  
• Maintaining an expert competence level in 1-2 regulatory areas and generalist level for other relevant compliance risks  
• Maintain good understanding of business and best practice compliance risk management related to products, processes and regulatory changes  
• Ad-hoc participation in projects, where you sometimes also will be expected to take the lead

Your experience and background:  

• Seek to become a trusted advisor, and you succeed by combining your regulatory competence with understanding of business and effective compliance risk management
• You are a strong communicator and able to influence, and also have the will and ability to listen and understand others’ point of view
• Proactive attitude coupled with a smile
• You are self-motivated and able to work independently, while remaining a team player
• Understanding of the financial regulatory environment
• You possess excellent English skills, both spoken and written
• Minimum 3-4 years of work experience
• A relevant Master’s Degree
