Chief Executive Officer, Siemens Financial Services

For Siemens Financial Services in Nordics (Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark) we are looking for a Chief Executive Officer. The successful candidate will have the holistic responsibility for the business in the Nordics and the its performance (especially performance of the credit book), S/he will drive local implementation of the strategy of COF and Region North and will identify opportunities to grow the business.

What are my responsibilities?

• Leading a strategic plan to advance the company's positioning in the market and performance based on Siemens' and SFS' / COF's strategy - especially improving the usage of financing in the industrial go-to-market from Siemens overall.
• Pioneering in digitalization, bringing broad set of opportunities and ideas into tangible results and establish a start-up like can-do- and outcome-oriented culture.
• Shaping the culture within the organization, cross-functional working, the overall success of the company.
• Inventing in the area of how to use financing more for selling industrial products, solutions and services.
• Leading the sales organization(s) operationally with focus on growing the business done directly with Siemens entities and untapping profit pools in new segments in vendor finance in Sweden / Finland and Norway over the next years.
• Holistically managing the balance-sheet optimizing profit of the organization whilst maintaining a risk-aware way of doing business.
• Overseeing company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Representing the company at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions – externally as well Siemens-internally.
• Representing the company and being ultimately responsible for the holistic performance of the company towards the board, the regulator and all other stakeholders.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Strong leadership and integrative skills, ability to manage a dynamic environment with the complexity of the different business models and functions.
• Extensive experience in leading business lines like leasing vendor, leasing direct, leasing digital and aligning them to the market requirements – transferable to the demands from Siemens’ local industrial go-to-market.
• Proven track record to implement and commercialize digitalization initiatives.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial services in several areas of financial services, i.e. different functions, products or geographies.
• 5 years of managerial experience in sales / go-to-market roles in a financial services company in the equipment finance sector (leasing, lending) and roles in managing processes across sales, risk, back office, collections and accounting.
• At least 2 years’ experience with lending responsibility or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish regulatory environment of asset and equipment finance.
• Strategic orientation for establishing and committing to a long-term business direction, understanding market drivers and creating new opportunities.
• English language skills mandatory, at least one Nordic language highly preferred.
